At this appointment a comprehensive dental examination will be carried out by Dr Elly Yassa. Part of this assessment includes:

• Medical history – some medical conditions and drugs may affect your gums
• Dental history – what treatment you have had in the past
• Periodontal Charting to thoroughly assess the periodontal condition around each tooth

Radiographs may be taken to help determine the extent of bone loss around the teeth

This important information will give Dr Elly Yassa the ability to assess whether you have gum disease . She will be able to provide you with an individualized treatment plan to help improve your oral health . She can also discuss with you any questions or concerns that you may have.
