Signs of Gum Disease
Gum disease is not usually associated with pain unless there is an infection or it is quite advanced.Signs to look out for:
- Bleeding gums – while brushing, flossing or spontaneously
- Swollen gums
- Loose teeth
- Moving/ Drifting teeth
- Teeth that have “fallen out” by themselves
- Bad breath
- Tender gums
- Painful chewing
- Receding gums/ longer appearing teeth
- Sensitive teeth
